Hystou FMP05B Core™ i7-6600U
The Hystou FMP05B Core™ i7-6600U is an ULV (ultra low voltage) dual-core System on a chip (microcomputer) and is manufactured using a 14 nm process with FinFET transistors. What makes the Core i7 processor so good? Well, the Core i7 processor has two CPU cores with Hyper-Threading Technology that improves the computer’s ability to multitask. There is also a HD Graphics 520 GPU a dual-channel DDR4-2133/DDR3L-1600 memory controller integrated in the chip.
Intel’s Skylake processor, launched in August 2015, replaces the older Broadwell and Haswell processors. Thermal design power, TDP for short, is the maximum amount of heat generated by a computer chip. Skylake has the same microarchitecture in every TDP class from 4.5 to 45 W. The default TDP is specified at 15 W, but can be lowered to 7.5 W to reduce heat dissipation and reduce space.
Compared to the older Haswell processor, the performance per clock of the Skylake processor has been increased by around 5 to 10 percent. Compared to the Broadwell processor, the increase is less than 5 percent. Other improvements of the design include increased out-of-order buffers, optimised prefetching and branch prediction.
The Hystou FMP05B Core™ i7-6600U boasts DDR3 16GB RAM, a 512GB SSD, advantageous in performance, security and reliability, ascribing to the eMMC memory, which ultimately delivers a richer end-user experience.
